Mid-Year Reading List

2012 planners are now 50% off, about just 30% if it's from a famous brand. There was a time I was convinced that it was a good and practical idea to acquire them mid-year as you have enough paper for an entire year and for half the price. After a while I found it a bit of an "unbrilliant" idea: i keep confusing the dates and it's sad not getting a new scribble pad at the beginning of the year.

So this time, we'll stick to a reading list . I believe everyone should read more than just the daily crap we're force fed. In doing so, we can see the world differently: A perspective that is made up from many different thoughts but is entirely our own. Enough pish-posh, I will be updating the list, put a strikethrough the finished ones and will put it on the sidebar once it starts cooperating.

The first book below is already done and i won't be including the ones i'm re-reading. Or should I?

Beginning July:
•Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K Rowling
-I did read all 6 books a decade ago save for the first. I must say: idiot me for skipping this one.

• Aleph by Paulo Coelho

• The Winner Stands Alone by Paulo Coelho

• Unlikely Allies by Joel Richard Paul

• It's Not About the Coffee by Howard Behar

• Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire

• Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel

• Hear the Wind Sing by Haruki Murakami
- I'm still internally debating whether I should include short stories since i never said "book" list.

These titles should have been done ages ago but i was struck by a debilitating disease called "Laziness".
It takes dog years for me to finish non-fiction books which is why I hate self-help books---alright, maybe not really, still it is not a completely bad idea to skim, maybe even read 'em (euugh).
And if you have good titles in mind, let me know :D

For now, back to burying my head in this amazing book (Yes, I'm a huge fan of Coelho) :3
